At a time when wealth management is reinventing itself, Alexandre Delmas embodies a new generation of advisors: discerning, independent, and close to their clients. After several years in the industry, he decided to launch Delmas Gestion Privée with a simple yet powerful ambition: to reconcile performance with purpose through a human, local, and resolutely digital approach. We sit down with an entrepreneur who aims to restore wealth management to its former glory.
What inspired you to take the plunge and start Delmas Gestion Privée?
Alexandre: The first thing that comes to mind is the search for meaning. In my previous experiences, I noticed a real disconnect between the world of finance and the individual. The lack of financial education in France often leads to misguided savings, and that’s what made me want to take action. I wanted to support these people so they could benefit from high-performing, tailored savings. The second reason is independence: in an increasingly concentrated sector that doesn’t always serve the end client’s best interests, independence remains the best guarantee of defending their interests with complete freedom.
If you had to sum up in three words what sets you apart, which ones would you choose?
Alexandre: Independence – High Standards – Personalized Service
What role should the wealth advisor play in the future, in an unstable and constantly changing world?
Alexandre: The advisor must be a true “conductor” of wealth. In a context marked by economic, political, and geopolitical uncertainties, our mission is to provide clarity, simplify choices, and offer solid, protective solutions, such as Luxembourg-based contracts that provide enhanced security for investors.
Young investors want meaning, digital solutions, and transparency.
How do you meet these expectations?
Alexandre: As a member of the 100% digital generation myself, I’ve designed a fully digital customer journey to save time on time-consuming tasks: real-time portfolio access, automated reporting, and simplified compliance processes. But digital technology will never replace human connection, which remains at the heart of the relationship. At Delmas Gestion Privée, I also guide younger generations toward meaningful investments, notably by incorporating impact-driven contracts and ensuring clear, accessible information.
In your view, what is the key advantage of an independent firm with deep local roots?
Alexandre: Independence ensures the freedom to choose the best solutions for each client, without any conflict of interest. Being rooted locally means sharing in my clients’ daily lives: understanding their environment, their concerns, and their plans. This allows me to stand by their side with secure, precise, and tailored solutions.
With Delmas Gestion Privée, Alexandre Delmas embodies a new generation of advisors, both rooted in their local community and focused on innovation. His career and vision reflect a firm belief: wealth management must remain human, independent, and constantly adapt to both client expectations and industry trends.
