Indosuez Wealth Management has announced its plan to acquire BNP Paribas’s wealth management client base in Monaco. This strategic move, revealed in a press release dated June 24, aims to consolidate Indosuez’s position as a leading player in the Monegasque market, where the bank has been established for over a century.
“This acquisition would strengthen our foothold in Monaco, particularly among ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. Indosuez is thus continuing its growth trajectory in a rapidly evolving sector and reaffirming its role as a European leader in wealth management,” said Jacques Prost, CEO of Indosuez Wealth Management.
Clients affected by this transfer will benefit from seamless support provided by Indosuez’s local teams, who are recognized for their expertise. They will also have access to a comprehensive range of services covering all wealth management needs thanks to the universal positioning of CFM Indosuez, the Principality’s leading bank.
This continuity will also be supported by the group’s international reach, its capabilities in financing, corporate finance, fund servicing, and management, as well as the strength of the Crédit Agricole group, ranked as the 9th largest bank in the world.
Finally, a commercial partnership will be established with BNP Paribas to ensure a sustainable transition for clients wishing to continue receiving wealth management support in Monaco.
