The Marcel Villette Group continues to expand with the acquisition of two specialized companies: Soisy Arrosage and Jardins de l’Orangerie. These transactions come less than six months after Weinberg Capital Partners became a minority shareholder in the group.
These acquisitions are part of an external growth strategy initiated several years ago by the group’s management. They enable Marcel Villette to consolidate its position in two complementary segments: the installation of irrigation systems on the one hand, and the landscaping of gardens and terraces on the other.
Soisy Arrosage, founded in 1957, is based in the Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France regions. It specializes in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, fountains, ponds, misting systems, and lighting solutions. It primarily serves a professional clientele and counts iconic sites such as the Stade de France and the Longchamp Racetrack among its references.
Jardins de l’Orangerie, founded in 1994, is also based in the Île-de-France region. It offers comprehensive services for the design and maintenance of outdoor gardens, indoor plants, and urban terraces. Its business focuses on a high-end B2B clientele, with notable projects in prestigious Parisian establishments.
With these two new entities, the Marcel Villette Group now exceeds €50 million in revenue. This milestone marks the transition from SME status to that of a mid-sized company (ETI). It reflects the company’s growing strength and the diversification of its expertise into promising sectors.
The entry of the WCP IMPACT DEV fund into the group’s capital has contributed to this momentum by supporting a long-term vision based on a strategy of independent and entrepreneurial consolidation.
Founded in 1929, the Marcel Villette Group has been active for nearly a century in landscaping and the renaturation of urban spaces. It has carried out numerous large-scale projects, particularly in Paris, and has received several professional awards. Since 2008, under the leadership of its current management, the group has strengthened its capabilities by integrating nine subsidiaries in the fields of green spaces, tree pruning, playgrounds, and sports fields.
At the same time, the company has structured its CSR approach by implementing an environmental charter and conducting a carbon footprint assessment.
The group intends to continue this growth trajectory in the coming months, with new opportunities for external expansion already under consideration.
