Indosuez Wealth Management announces a major new milestone in its governance with the appointment of Bénédicte Chrétien as Chief Executive Officer of its Monegasque subsidiary, CFM Indosuez Wealth Management. She is scheduled to take up the position on October 1, 2025, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
Recognized expertise in financial services
Currently Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Crédit Agricole S.A. and a member of its Executive Committee, Bénédicte Chrétien has extensive experience in the banking and financial sector, particularly in wealth management and asset management. She has also served on the Board of Directors of Indosuez Wealth Management since 2021, reflecting her strategic commitment to the group.
At the helm of CFM Indosuez Wealth Management, her mission will be to continue and expand the bank’s growth, particularly among a discerning international high-net-worth clientele. Her in-depth knowledge of organizational challenges and strategic transformation, combined with her international background, is a valuable asset for strengthening Indosuez’s position in Monaco.
An exemplary career in finance and talent management
Bénédicte Chrétien began her career at AXA in 1992 in human resources focused on IT roles within the insurance sector. In 1995, she joined AXA Investment Managers, where she held roles in HR, sales, and strategy, notably participating in acquisitions and restructuring efforts.
She returned to human resources in 2003, before becoming Director of Operational HR in 2006, then Global HR Director in 2010 at AXA Investment Managers, also joining the executive committee and the board of directors of the organization in Paris.
In 2013, she joined the Edmond de Rothschild Group in Geneva as Group HR Director and a member of the Executive Committee. She joined Crédit Agricole S.A. in 2014 as International HR Director, then was appointed Group HR Director in 2016, joining the Group’s Executive Committee.
With a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, she embodies a human and strategic leadership style, capable of driving organizational change in complex and international environments.
